SN0, DRY SLOPE SNOWBOARDING APPAREL

The inspiration for this Capstone collection started with Copenhill. This rooftop ski slope made from recycled plastic is a realistic solution for the climate change challenges facing the ski industry. These plastic slopes can be utilized year-round and implementation across the globe is imminent. The possibility for year-round snowsports creates a new market segment opportunity for off-season mountain apparel that offers protection from sun, rain, and falls while catering to thermoregulation needs in off-season snowboarding conditions. The below slides are the culmination of this year-long design project, including research, athlete testing, design ideation, development, and final testing.
